What data we collect

For family registration we collect each member’s name, date of birth, gender, relationship, annual income, mobile number, address, and Aadhaar number. The Aadhaar number is never stored or displayed in the clear — the system keeps only a one-way (HMAC) hash and the last 4 digits.

Legal basis (DPDP Act, 2023)

Data is processed under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, on the basis of your explicit consent and the State’s legitimate use for delivering welfare schemes. Aadhaar is used only for identity confirmation and duplicate prevention, consistent with the Aadhaar Act, 2016.

How the data is used

Collected details are used only for: (1) one-family-one-identity duplicate checks, (2) scheme-eligibility computation and alerts, and (3) grievance redressal. Data is not shared for marketing or profiling.
